Matthew Firestone is a Development Manager with Kadus Group.  He has extensive experience across commercial and residential real estate, bringing a well-rounded, execution-focused perspective to complex development projects. His expertise spans land acquisition and deal evaluation, project ideation and feasibility analysis, highest and best use studies, financial modeling and ROI analysis, budgeting and forecasting, financing support, functional programming, and end-to-end project management.

At Kadus Group, Matt is actively supporting projects for Perley Health and Howards Fine Jewellers, and has completed multiple residential projects for past clients. He works closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to advance projects from early concept through approvals and execution, ensuring momentum is maintained while managing risk and detail.

Matt is known for his calm and steady approach under pressure, and ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. He communicates clearly, manages teams effectively, and brings structure and discipline to project delivery—qualities that are critical to successful outcomes.

His background includes over 10 years as a Commercial Realtor and Mortgage Broker, 5 years as a Project Manager overseeing both development and construction, and 3 years in property management.

 

Matt is committed to ongoing professional development and holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from Carleton University. He is proficient in industry tools including MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and SketchUp, enabling him to combine analytical rigor with practical execution.
